Chamblee/Doraville or Decatur definately.

My reasons are because these two locations are central to everything else. They are also close enough to Ed's new potential position, and both have an easy access to busses just in case.

Smyrna, Vinings, and Roswell do not have these qualities.

Personally, Chamblee/Doraville, and Decatur are also more familiar to me. I do live in Decatur, and the part of Decatur I live in is much nicer than Doravile/Chamblee, but you know how it works, You've got to find the right neighborhood/complex, Not just an area. Atlanta is so weird like that! Ghetto on one street, Upper-middle class a street over. Most cities aren't like that! A real melting pot we are in!

That's just my 2 cents.

I'm going to look into Lafemmes' suggestion on Furniture, but you can also look on www.Craigslist.com (Click on 'Atlanta'), People sell things as if it were a yard sale, and sometimes they give things away for free. I have gotton lots of things through Craigslist.

There are Homeschooling communities here, too. Where parents get together and teach different things. I remember there was a Pagan based one. Femme might remember how to contact them. If anything, It would be nice to have a resource to talk to if you decide to go it on your own.

I think the main reasons i probably won't homeschool Mica is because I am not structured enough to give him what he needs, and i can't imagine having the time to spend with him, being a single Mom. *sigh*.

So hopefully I will be able to put him in a Private school. I am worried I will fall into the category of making too much/Not enough category. It's worth it to go broke over! But it's more worth it to develop a career!

I know that regardless, I will want to move to an area with decent public schoold, just in case.
