First off, about that trip to Italy: it was FABULOUS. I will be typing up (at least excerpts from) my physical, written journal and posting them here. However, my first job is to finish rotating those of my 2120 photos that are portrait-style... and then choosing my favourites... posting them to Facebook... and captioning them. Yikes. Soon!
The real news of this entry, though, is this:
(a) I was accepted to my top choice university, George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
(b) They're giving me a $20,000 annual scholarship.
That's HUGE. So I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going (second-choice Boston University only offered me $10,000 and they aren't significantly less expensive than GW). I'm sitting on the decision until Friday; unless some new bit of information has come up by then, I'm sending in my deposit and will be in DC next year.
