Conquer our fears and never fall
I went to the library to study with Hui Yen, Hui Jie and Shan Xuan today. It's perhaps the first time I'm going out with only girls. It feels kinda awkward.
After lunch at Tampines One's Kopitiam (the food was very costly and not even filling at all... but it's nice though), I treated Hui Yen and Shan Xuan to doughnuts... -_- Then, we left for Hui Jie's house at Ballota Park, a condo opposite Changi Prison Service.
First, we played badminton and I was laughing all the way. I saw that my skills has become pretty rusty. After that, we went to the playground/fitness corner and Hui Jie "tried" to teach us how to pull off a cartwheel. I want to learn how to do it badly. :( I tried to pull off some stunts standing on the parallel bars and I felt pathetic. Hahah. Suspending yourself upside down with your joints supported on a parallel bar then feeling the blood rush to your head is a nice feeling.
We went up to Hui Jie's house when it started to drizzle. Hui Yen taught her how to play the guitar... Hui Jie's house looked totally different since my last visit. Her house has more plants now which makes the living room seem more enclosed and shady. Did I mention that Hui Jie and her twin sister does homework in their stuffy room without the aircon or fan turned on? Utterly crazy.
I went home at 6-ish as I was expecting my tutor to come round my place tonight, and it wasn't so, which was relieving. I'd rather not have tuition after spending this morning completing A. Maths worksheets.
My paternal relatives are chatting away with my discharged dad in the living room right now. It's been ages since they last visited. I won't be surprised if it has been 3 years. :S
Sheesh, I asked Ailin if she signed up for the Standard Chartered marathon at the end of the year but there wasn't any reply. I'm interested to attend, though. "You don't really have to run the whole stretch that is 42.195km", that's what I'll use to dissuade my friends from not joining, I guess.
