Smeared in black ink
I've just started picking up new manga to read. I could still remember the manga my friend recommended to me 2 years back, "High School Debut". LOL. Well, I've already finished reading it, including the one-shot sequel to its final chapter. Overall, it's pretty much your ordinary school life/romance kind of manga with all that sappy "I love you" stories - basically it's all sorts of cliche, but I felt that the characters have injected some fun into the story. Maybe that's why the manga itself is such a bestseller.
At times, it's not necessarily the plot which makes the story interesting, but the characters themselves who sometimes are capable of leaving deep impressions on the reader. ;) Don't get me wrong - I enjoyed reading "High School Debut", and you're welcome to take that statement as a recommendation, that is if you like reading this kind of manga. :D
For now, I'm going to start reading more manga. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of reading "Karneval" and "Kuroshitsuji" (yeah, I know - I've only watched the anime version). Of course, there's still some ongoing manga I have to complete soon. I really need more to read. Anime is fine, too. Do leave a comment with your suggestions. I welcome any genre (basically I can read almost any type of manga), just not pornographic/yaoi/ecchi ones. Thank you. :D
I guess I'm off to complete some of my holiday homework. Ugh, doesn't just looking at those two words make you feel a little disgusted on the inside? :S
