My class shifted classrooms today! We are going to have our lessons conducted in the newly-constructed, fully air-conditioned audio visual room!!! How cool is that? Whenever an audio visual room comes in mind, there will obviously be glass doors and speakers, awesome! XD Of course, our classroom venue will only be tentative because come on... it's an audio visual room, of course the members from MIC will eventually use the room. Let's hope the construction takes a longer time! Hahah, I sound selfish. However, we were supposedly assigned the dance studio which was ten times cooler, but 3R2 "stole" it from us because they shifted early. Argh.
I'll be sandwiched between two girls for the time being, according to the new seating arrangement. I find Cynthia quite funny. It's hilarious to see Raudhah sit beside Christon. Wei Lin commented that they look like a mountain, because Raudhah is pretty much the tallest girl in class and Christon is quite short (he admitted it!!!). That's really ludicrous.
I met up with Hui Yen, Aaron, Ailin and Xinyi after school. Actually, Yi Ren and Janet tagged along but they went home shortly after. I got a cool postcard from Ailin with a nice message on it (thanks again!!!), and we were basically planning about our future cell group outings. Would KBox be fun? ;)
I also had the Reading Circle programme during English class today. So, I kind of strayed off my duty of summarising the chapter and I went to read an extract from a Singapore literature book titled "Foreign Bodies" by Tan Hwee Hwee. The book was really comical and I think that Singaporean culture was really incorporated in it, which was what made it hilarious. Hahah. I know I'm talking crap. >_> LOL. I shall try to find it in Kinokuniya soon.
Hui Jie also told me that Cecelia Ahern was a great author because she writes with a lot of emotion. So, I went to look up on one of her really popular books (in case you didn't know, it's "PS, I Love You"). The plot was about a woman whose husband was dying. Her husband wrote a series of ten letters to her, signed off with "PS, I Love You". Through the messages in the letters, she was guided in getting through her grief and rediscovering herself. Basically, the story is about how love can turn the finality of death into a beginning of life. It's a heartwrenching plot but like Hui Jie said, it's really touching at the same time. I also felt that I was wronged, because before I read about her books, I thought that Cecelia Ahern was just another Meg Cabot, who wrote novels which kind of put me off. LOL. I was also assigned to read one of Cecelia Ahern's books in the Reading Circle programme, so it would be a good way to sample her writing. Inkheart also seemed interesting, judging by how I loved Harry Potter. Perhaps I should read that too.
The bus on my ride home was really empty today, which was obviously, awesome!!! XD I like to be in empty buses because I feel that my thoughts could flow easily. LOL, I do think about that because my bus ride is usually around 45 minutes, which is crazily long. -_- Plus, it's bus no. 3, and that bus being empty is really uncommon.
I just realised that I was being random. Alright, back to figuring polynomials out.
