After the oral exam yesterday, I went to Tampines Sports Complex with Rashid, Christon, Jun Jie & Kristine for a badminton game. Initially we planned to play in the sports hall, of course. But the receptionist told us that all the courts have been booked. We went in to double-check, anyway, and behold - there were around 3 empty courts at the back of the hall. We chose one at the corner but we were eventually chased away because there was a group of Chinese players who booked the court. But the funny thing is that they weren't even using it. Why would it be empty, then?
We then settled outside the entrance of the sports hall - a ridiculous location. Though we had no net, we continued playing anyway. It was rather fun, I guess. We took videos, too, and they're all on
Kristine's blog. Here's a little summary of what we did - mocking the tennis players usually seen on TV by making weird screams whenever we hit the shuttlecock, and strolling about the green field nearby slowly, as if we were elderly people deep in thought. Or rather, Ms Devi.
It was already around 6.45pm when we packed up. Headed to Century Square with Rashid, Christon & Kristine to have our dinner. Then headed to Faith's house with Christon. We missed our bus at first, and after waiting for nearly 10 minutes at the interchange, we decided to take the train to Bedok to catch up with the bus we missed. But when we reached, we still couldn't catch the bus. We boarded another one though, but we had to chase after it too. It was, overall, a retarded experience. And farting while running?
Watched "Passion of Christ" there. That movie never fails to make me tear. Though it's way gory. Although my goosebumps were up (as usual), I was still very touched. I remember watching it at Ailin's house last year. :)
Spent this afternoon with Yu Yun & Yi Ren at White Sands' McDonald's! Studied a little bit of Ecology, but I still haven't got all the facts in my system. I didn't really feel good then, was sneezing and all. But when we got to church, I felt much better.
Anyway, I realised that, of all people, I'll always bump into Serene. Bumped into her while going to the hall, and again when we left. I bump into her in school, too, and also in shopping malls. Perhaps she shares some kind of affinity with Yu Yun & I or something. :S
Had dinner with my cell group at Eastpoint's Banquet. Realised that History is actually really depressing. Though I'm still very envious of Shanggei - she's learning cool topics like Fascism in Japan & the Cold War. Learnt that Joshua & Stephen take H3 Physics in TJC, too. I'd really like to take H3 Biology if I do get into a JC. Anyway, there was this perverted shopkeeper (an old man) who treated the girls to 3 bowls of ice kacang. Unbelievable, but true. And Cliff planned to act like a sissy in front of him to see if he's gonna get a free bowl, too. Hilarious. ;)
Chen Sian kinda "flattered" me today by saying that I look like a player. And a guy who's popular among girls. Honestly, I don't look like a player in school. Definitely not. :S
Oh well, time to prepare for the exams. The results for the 'O' Level Mother Tongue exam will be released on Wednesday. Keeping my fingers crossed.
