Today was awesome, and personally, I feel that it's a pretty huge feat to have a great day today, especially since there's school and the major exams are merely 95 days away. Which, mind you, isn't that far ahead.
The first piece of good news came in today during the PE lesson. Learnt that I got an A1 for CCA! I'm elated about it. I never thought I could hit 25 points. My contributions to the CCA really paid off. I really have Mdm Zakiah to thank. She has been such a thoughtful mentor during the days when she was still the teacher-in-charge of the photography club. :) I hope Hui Yen gets that extra point really soon! She's not very far from an A1, too. ;)
The PE lesson was taught by Mr Huang, and it was held in this really small "gym". Seriously, I think that calling that place a gym is ridiculous. It has only a short shelf for the weights, and merely 4 gym equipments. How exactly will a 43-strong class make full use of this... gym?
Anyway, he spent an hour and a half teaching us how to handle the equipment properly. And the duration of the lesson is supposedly an hour. When the lesson begun to really eat into the next period, I raised my hand shyly and pointed out that his lesson was over. He then proceeded to make a shocked expression which was priceless. It was even coupled with hand movements.
After school ended, Kristine asked if I wanted to follow her & Jasper to buy the movie tickets. I agreed, but I had to get my bag first, but after they heard that they just went down. I thought that they left already, so I decided to wait in school for the HMT students. I dilly-dallied with Amelia, thinking that I had some free time in my hands. But it wasn't until when I bumped into Jasper, Jun Jie & Kristine near the canteen that I realised they've been waiting for me all along. For really long, too. Can't describe how apologetic I felt then.
Kristine left for the bookdrop, leaving us to get the tickets. Jasper realised that he didn't have enough money (we didn't, too), so he was advised to withdraw money from the ATM to pay for all the tickets first. While we were doing all this, Kristine the ninja was already halfway done with creeping to the cinema. When we reached there, she was already queuing up. And it turns out that she had enough money to pay for the tickets. Anyway, there were so many people who caught the movie - 8, to be exact.
Watched them have lunch first while I waited for the HMT students. Suddenly, Hui Jie called and told me Janet was going to follow us. I then had to rush to the ticketing counter to get another seat which was next to ours'. There was one in the end... kinda miraculous because there were already 8 of us seated in one row.
"Inception" was a superb catch. Very gripping scenes but the plot was very perplexing. I started to really like it only after reading up on the synopsis. :S Featured two of my favourite actors - Ellen Page & Joseph Gordon-Levitt. :) Enjoyed the other films that featured them. Anyway, if you're gonna catch that film, it's best to do some research on the storyline first.
Was supposed to meet Hui Yen & Yi Ren at ECP, but by the time the movie ended, it was already way too late. :( Felt really apologetic, again. Rushed home, got ready, and headed off to Bedok for the cell group meeting.
Caught up with Hui Yen on the way home after CGM and talked about personal matters. Haven't been truly talking to her for so long already. But the essence's still there! Which is great. Told me that I changed a lot. Actually, I didn't even notice so. But both of us changed for the better I guess! Amazing how we were able to maintain a good friendship for nearly 4 years.
I think this blog entry just broke a record.
