Operation Mothers' Day?

This morning I went out with my family to Katong to have Beach Rd prawn mee. They're really yummy, albeit unhealthy & MSG-saturated. But I guess once in a while is alright. :P

I went to Wheelock Place after that and bought some books from Borders for some intensive reading over the June holidays. :P I hope the titles I chose are interesting. I just picked the books that briefly appealed to me.

Walked around Orchard Rd with an Orange Julius original in my hand. I swear, their drinks are really awesome. Especially their originals! I can't say much about their juices because I've never tried them before, but there's one thing I'm definitely sure about - their fruit smoothies are great.

So I went home after an afternoon out and pored over my Geography textbook for about an hour before leaving for church. Today's church service was a drama production to commemorate Mothers' Day and to celebrate all the mothers. It was rather good, I guess. ;)

After service ended, I made a lone trip to Pasir Ris in search of a rose. In the end, I couldn't find a store that sold flowers. Shanggei got hers at Bedok Interchange, but by then it was already too late for me to make a trip down to Bedok. However, when all else fails, there's always a back-up plan! When I got home, I proposed to have lunch with my mom tomorrow at Sakae Sushi, but she doesn't know that the meal's on me. :P

I hope she'll have a good treat tomorrow since she has been really stressed up over work lately...
