I guess today was an OK start to Term 2.
Founder's Day is tomorrow and so my class will be sitting through only half of tomorrow's lessons to attend the celebrations, and that's great - other than the fact that the one and a half periods of Mother Tongue lesson will remain untouched. The best thing is that the principal declared Wednesday an off-day for the school - and that definitely calls for a day of productive studying in the library. If I'm not lazy, that is.
For English class, I wrote an essay about why English is important for Singaporeans living in the modern century. I pretty much wrote a load of rubbish, but I'm also hoping Mrs Wong won't fail me like she almost did previously. :( I did complete it, after all.
Afternoon assembly was spent listening to a cyber-bullying talk. After that, I went for lunch with Jun Jie & Christon, and then I returned to school with Christon and stayed in class with him, Rashid, Li Ting, Atika & Gracie until around 6pm when I went to Tampines Interchange to meet Hui Yen for guitar class. Actually I didn't really meet her until I entered the classroom. The teacher started on "Etude No. 1" today and I still find it difficult to adjust my fingering. Ahhh.
I hope tomorrow will be fine, too.
