Today's just, well... today. My apologies for not updating lately, though. Life simply gets so uneventful sometimes. I'd rather curl up in my bed with a good book, go for an evening jog around the canal near my house or listen to music on YouTube while browsing Tumblr & Facebook than try to painstakingly recall events just for the sake of stringing them into sentences after sentences of words. Expression is indeed a pain in the butt at times.
I'm utterly annoyed with life right now because my room has been in a horribly bad shape lately due to the accumulation of all my stuff. Moreover, I have yet to give my room its sparkle back, which further puts me off because here comes the thought of having to battle against procrastination again. :( I hate it because its messy state is always the aftermath of a savage riot among my innumerable school assignments, notes and forms. For once, I really wish that the school's photocopy machine successfully breaks down. I just can't stand the fact that my room will always be drowned by a tsunami of black & white on top of other junk that (honestly) hasn't been put away till now due to my sheer laziness.
Yesterday I went for extra classes in school - Biology classes to be exact, after which I went for lunch with a bunch of friends. Initially I planned to go to Hui Jie's house but didn't in the end because I was looking forward to going home. :S
At night, I went for the youth meeting in the Expo church with my cell group and it lasted a whopping 3 hours. However, the value of the sermon was far greater than that of its duration. It was very relevant and impacting and it really made me understand why youths are indispensable in this modern society. Overall it was great and people like Hui Jie managed to attend the meeting too. :)
Today was far less interesting, unfortunately. Had A. Math tuition in the afternoon where I learned about integrating exponential/logarithmic/trigonometric functions and deriving the area of a region. Personally I think calculus is really awesome. :) I also chatted for quite a while with my teacher and he shared some insights into his life as a university student, offering some pointers regarding further education. I guess what he shared was good to know, and anyway, everything will work out fine so long as I adopt a clear focus towards my academics this year.
Anyway, I've been Tumblin' like crazy these few days. You can
check it out if you want. And pardon me for being so ignorant, but I just realised that Tumblarity has been removed. :S
