Having a hard time

... both physically and mentally. Though the image I chose has a deeper "Tumblr" meaning to it?
I started on "The Da Vinci Code" today. I know, I'm a really slow one when it comes to novels. So far, the read has been an engaging albeit kinda enigmatic one. xD Dan Brown's an author with a high degree of intellect... I wonder how much research it took to write that novel.

Today was like any other ordinary school day (a vapid yet mentally-exhausting one). All the lessons were nothing short of a drag, basically. Anyway, Mrs Wong handed back our diagnostic test scripts during English lesson today, and I have to say that I did really badly with a score of only 68%. -_- I admit that I've been concentrating on Chinese these past few weeks, but I didn't expect my English grades to drop that much. Guess there's a huge room for improvement. :S I use English, but I don't apply English. :(

Mrs Wee covered the rules of Differentiation in lightning speed during A. Maths lesson. I'm not sure if I can catch up. Well, I guess it'd be fine if I keep a steady pace at completing the homework. :)

After assembly today, Ms Low beckoned me over and she talked to me, along with another handful of students, about my CCA records. To be very honest, I was utterly taken aback when she told me that the school's unsure of which CCA I was in. Y'know, I admit that I'm a transfer, so it does make things a little messy, but I've been attending my second CCA for every session since 2008, even going for camps and overseas exchange programmes. And considering that I'm already in my final year of secondary school, the fact that the school has horrible organisation is not something that I can pass off as a joke...

After a meeting with the cell group, I went to the staff room to look for Mdm Zakiah. Much to my relief, she admitted that I've been very active in my CCA and told the admin that there was some sort of mistake. Apparently, my name was still recorded under my old CCA in addition to my second one. The HOD obviously made an absurd assumption that I've been a phantom member in my (old) CCA without making the effort to look at my CIP hours and CCA records in my report book.

I found the guitar lesson manageable today, unlike the other lessons. Also, I had a free meal in the canteen during lunch today, since the stall vendors were coincidentally clearing up the food and stuff. Guess today wasn't that bad. :O
