I was kinda taken aback during PE lesson this morning. The teachers gave us number tags with safety pins attached to it for us to pin on our shirts. Normally, we'd do that before a run. I thought we were just going to take our height and weight today, but it turned out otherwise. Instead, we ran 2.4km in training for the NAPFA test because we'd be taking the test earlier since we're Sec 4 students already. My timing for the run is 11:47. I did do better than that before, but the timing's still alright. :)
During Geography class, Ms Lum started on the topic of Development, and I think that it's rather interesting, though I'd very much prefer continuing to learn about the physical aspect of the subject. She played a documentary about the development of India during the next half of the lesson, and it was really intriguing. I guess I'm really more of a Geography (than a Social Studies) person. :)
After school, I went to Tampines Mart's Kopitiam for lunch with a few of my friends. I tried the red tea ice blended from the bubble tea shop, and it tasted good. :) To put it simply, I really love tea drinks, even the extra bitter ones like the barley tea I had in Japan. I didn't like it at all at first, but I got used to its unique bitter taste when I tried it the second time. Kinda miss it now...
Anyway, the Biology test doesn't even deserve to be termed a "test". Its format is exactly that of an exam. 40 marks worth of MCQs, 50 marks worth of structured questions and a 10 marks worth of essay questions doesn't make it a test. Of course, I didn't breeze through the "test", but I don't think I'll fail, either. It was difficult though, no doubt.
CCA ended pretty abruptly today, and I went down to the canteen after that to finish writing my Chinese essay. Yi Ren & Rashid found me when I was halfway through, and they started joking around and stuff. I guess they were my entertainment for the day. Yi Ren also taught Rashid how to tie knots for their NPCC promotion test tomorrow, and as usual, Yi Ren was cracking all those lame jokes...
I finally managed to complete the Chinese essay in the end, and I waited all the way until 7.30pm for Yi Ren & Rashid to be dismissed from CCA. :S While walking with them to the bus stop, Rashid kept ranting about how his senior's such a bitch. Apparently, he's meeting her tomorrow. Hahah, good luck then.
I boarded bus no. 34 to Ikea Tampines and I walked home in the darkness. Well, not really... but the walk was good. Watching the bright traffic lights and taking in the night breeze made me realise that it's really Friday. :D It was already about 8.30pm when I got home, but TGIF. :)
