Thank goodness school was alright today. After morning assembly, I had only half an hour left to write the essay during Chinese class, so Mr Fong allowed us to bring them home to complete. :D
Following after was Math class and Mrs Pong taught us for the first time. Honestly, she goes through the notes really quickly but I guess I still can cope if I do practice often. After all, I guess Mensuration is a pretty manageable topic. XD
After recess was Chemistry class and we conducted an experiment on the heat of neutralisation in the lab. The procedures were rather easy and the graph plotting wasn't as difficult as I expected (I kinda dreaded having to draw a curve using freehand)... so good thing for that.
The new teacher, Mr Ong, introduced himself with a lesson of values during Social Studies class. I feel that he's a pretty rational person and he did make sense out of what he said, of course. He looks like he can be both a Math and a Humanities teacher, and he definitely has the disposition of a disciplinary master (which is what he is in the first place...). Hopefully the way he teaches will be good.
I knocked off on the bus ride home - little did I know that I missed my stop. When I woke up I was already cruising along the expressway. -_- I got dropped off at Jalan Kayu and I had to wait for 15 minutes or so for the bus to take me back to my stop. That's the disadvantage of living near a bus stop that has TPE as its next destination. I'd better go to bed early from now on to avoid these little troubles that come along with sleeping on bus & train rides. :S
Anyway, The Killers are coming to perform in Singapore on the 24th (!!!). Obviously, I wasn't aware of it until now, when all the tickets have been sold out. I think I'll make a late New Year's resolution of attending a concert at least once this year. Hope I'll be able to get tickets for the Paramore concert that's coming up in March... maybe not. My parents won't even speak of it - that I'm sure of. Why do all the awesome concerts have to be held this year??? And when I can attend them, they'll be "touring around Asia" when they're just performing around Japan.
Oh well, there's a Biology test on Friday, an SS test (based on everything we learnt in Sec 3?!) on Tuesday with the Chinese reading test top it all off. Sigh, guess that's reality for me.
