Come Play at the Artcade at Canzine this weekend!
Two of the greatest forces in Toronto Indie gaming: The Artsy Games Incubator and TOJam are teaming up at Canzine this Sunday to present the Artcade where people can play a whole bunch of local indie games including the debute of Night of the Cephelopods. Also Ro's AGI game from last round, Albacross will be playable, (possibly with some minor bug fixes if she remembers to send me her file *poke*). The Artcade starts at 1pm with four different games playable every hour, sometime between 5-6pm I'll be doing a short presentation on Night of the Cephelopods, probably made up of monosylabic grunts, 6-7 it will be playable along with several other great games from this Artsy Games round. Despite the fact that my game is only on at the end of the day I plan to be in the room, coding and arting as many new features into the game as I can manage. So come by say hi and play games!
Oh and the illustration with the space invaders is from the new Artsy Games Incubator flyer I made today. I've been wanting to do something watercolory for a while and I think it turned out kinda keen.
