Update on Khaos.
After reading through the link my friend sent me, it sounds like khaosinc had valve replacement surgery and not a heart transplant. This is good. It's still major heart surgery, don't get me wrong, but having them fix the broken pieces is a whole lot better than having them have to give you a whole new one.
This post confuses me though. She says "thank you to the person who donated their body parts." My friend Bob had his mitral valve replaced, and there were two choices: pig valve or ceramic valve. No people parts involved. This post mentions "human and pig parts," so maybe it was more than just a valve that needed replacing.
I dunno. I'm hoping someone gets some information that makes more sense.
