Vince's benefit canceled by beer
Well, sometime during the second or third song of the evening, the guy sitting next to me managed to spill his beer onto the mixing board, effectively turning tonight's benefit into an acoustic night. Phat Mandee, the consummate professional, continued with her set anyway. Now the sound guy's making frantic cell phone calls and Vince has given up on asking people for money. And anyway, everyone's at The Mattress Factory for red hot + Momentum. It's a bummer for Vince. Better luck for his January benefit.
