Last night was even more fun that I expected it to be. Their wedding was so cute. Adam complained the entire service about being hungry and things taking too long, but his wording was hysterical...as usual. (not the groom, Adam...Adam Durham) It was a movie themed reception, with fresh popcorn waiting at the door. Teege and Abby saved us seats at the Princess Bride table, and their favors were little boxes of movie style candy...I got Junior Mints (which just so happens to be my favorite). Beer flowed freely the entire evening, and the dancing was pretty awesome. Josh stated early in the night that we were playing the music game, and that he would stop at nothing. We went back and forth, and I was shocked that I kept the game closely tied. At one point, I was on the dance floor and he was across the room and upstairs in the bathroom, the first note of the song and I knew what it was. So, I raced across the dance floor, through all the tables, up a set of stairs, through the buffet, up a flight of stairs, where I came to the bathroom door and patiently waited. A few seconds later, the door opened, I smiled sweetly and said "Garth Brooks". Which, put me one ahead of him. There was something so wonderful about all of this. Taking my shoes off and running through the wedding like a child, just to see his pissed off expression when he realizes that I'm beating him at his own game. Most of the night was spent getting in eachothers faces and yelling the artist at the same time, and the people around us deciding who took it. Sadly, Nic determined that he got ACDC...but then my reward was listening to him sing Shook Me All Night long in my ear, dancing, and playing air guitar. By the end of the night, we tied. The second to last song was Ben Folds- The Luckiest, which is one of my favorite songs. But, the last song was Europe-The Final Countdown...which Josh has as his ringtone, so go figure. The evening continued to be awesome, but I'll save you the details. <3 Photos to come.
