Blog-o-sphere
Hello world! It's been a while. I decided I need to get back on this thing once again to exercise my first amendment rights. Although now I need topics to write about, since my life (as of late) has not been particularly interesting. So I would love some inspiration! Lord knows I can form my own opinions about anything. Or maybe I shall go on some great adventures to reflect on! At any rate, I don't want to just ramble about my days. I'd rather tell you about the fulfilling insights that constantly run through my head. Or at least I think they are fulfilling and insightful lol.
Here is something I have been pondering lately: potential
Potential is seeing more in something than actually exists. It is the "what if" of just about anything. Usually only humans can recognize potential. We have learned the capabilities of objects, other people, and ourselves. Your cat does not know that your car key has the potential to start up your car if operated correctly. However, I have noticed that my dog, Lyric, has the ability to recognize potential. Now some things he has just learned from experience, but some of his instincts do involve potential. I remember the first time I brought him around softball bats. He had never seen anything like it, yet he understood its potential. The bat on the ground or in my hand was non-threatening. When I picked it up he started growling at it! He knew that in that instant it became a weapon. Smart cookie. He must get it from his mom...
