Things I liked:
-The note at the end. I'm going to go assume it's Lex. Lex who is protecting Clark--who is protecting Clark's secret. Yes, this is how things go in my happy place, and if that's not how it turns out, I'll be very displeased. Very displeased indeed...
-LOIS! I've hated her for the first few episodes of the season, and while I still think the clois is being shoved on us without much background, I still liked her this week. The Lois I saw tonight is the kind of Lois I want to see in the future. I'm not quite sure what changed (other than less of the suddenly-amazing-journalist-with-no-previous-proof-of-this thing. I didn't see that so much tonight, although what I saw of that was still annoying) If this is how she is in next week's episode, I don't think I'll be disappointed.
-Maxima. She was kind of pointless and completely psycho, but I actually liked her in a way that had nothing to do with any of her actions making sense. Seriously, she was crazy, but I had fun watching her. I even felt sorry for her about how Clark wasn't really her soul mate.
-Clark's bare chest. Very nice. Very, very nice.
-Clark lying to Tess, because I'm now assuming that Lex is watching that.
-The fact that Chloe has knowledge of other planets. That's kind of neat.
-Lois teasing Clark about sex. That was funny.
Things I didn't like:
-Jimmy. He cheated on Chloe. Why in the world did Clark have to save him?
-Clark excusing Jimmy for cheating on Chloe because he wasn't himself. He damn well was! Yes, he was drunk, but that's a terrible excuse. Until she kissed him, he was fully in control of what he was doing. I hope that next week he gets run over by that truck he was talking about in the hospital.
-Chimmy. There's no chemistry there. None. Zero.
-The angsty Chlark. I'll admit, I enjoy the Chlark pairing, but not when they make a love triangle out of it. That's not enjoyable at all.
-The fact that the writers can't seem to decide how far away Metropolis is from Smallville.
-The fact that Lois's car got thrown on top of two other cars and she was perfectly fine. That's completely unbelievable.
-The fact that Chloe is being so under-used. It's like her whole character has been completely revamped so it's nothing like the person we've been shown through the previous seasons.
-Chloe going on and on about Jimmy being her true love and perfect for her. He's a loser. He cheated on her. And who in their right mind would trade Clark for Jimmy? That's just insane and nothing like the Chloe I always saw.
