Thoughts on the Season Finale
I was actually kind of underwhelmed...
The only scene that I really cared anything about was the last one between Clark and Lex, and to be honest, it felt completely compressed, like they'd had to cut it down because of time. I expected more between them--more explanation--because God knows they had enough crap to hash out. Instead, it just seemed like the writers cut it down to make room for other stuff. Seriously, this was MR's last episode, and on a show that was supposed to be the epic journey of a)Clark Kent to Superman and b)Lex Luthor to villain, it seemed a very poor and disappointing send-off--there should have been more to it. I don't think it was exactly horrible, but I think it could have been so much better. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed.
