This December marks two huge milestones in my life. First and foremost, my baby is turning 18. There have been many ups and downs, and a lot of grey hair. I’m proud of him. He’s on the right path to being a good man.
My second milestone is the separation from my husband. It’ll be a year on Yule that I told him I was leaving. I’ve never looked back, and although this year has been rough financially and emotionally, I’ve never regretted leaving.
All that’s left for the coming year is finding a way to move my family to Austin so that I can be with the woman who stole my heart. She truly is my soul mate.
