Hmm
My four year old, Quinn came up to me last night, wanting to read his book. Now, he's a beginner reader, and the books are similar to See Dick Run. This one was called animal countdown. I read it aloud to him. It went like this;
Six elephants.
Five falcons.
Four whales.
Three crocodiles.
Two tigers.
One Panda.
Help save the animals.
My son then read it like this;
Six huffalumps.
Five Valkyries.
Four submarines.
Three cockroaches.
Two kittens.
One PANDA BEAR!
Help us slay the animals.
The really sad part, is that it made perfect sense to me. ~facepalm~
