Len Kagamine

Fandom: Vocaloid
Place of Origin: Japan.
Age: Fourteen.
Birthday: December.27.
Sexuality: Asexual.
I say this because there is not much on the Vocaloids at all, so there is mostly assumption. There are several -sexuals Len could be: Asexual, heterosexual, or selfsexual (because of Rin.). I'm leaving it as asexual because it has a more realistic feel.

Talents: Singing, possibly dancing.
Koubu Color: Yellow.
Koubu Weapons: Sabre & pistols.
Desired Troupe: Imperial Assault Force / Teikoku Kagekidan - Tsukigumi.
Desired Troupe Position: Technological think-tank / Information gatherer / back-up fighter.

Appearance:
With obviously young features, Len's an attractive boy with blonde hair and unique blue-green eyes. He is thin and lean, and can usually be seen sporting either a carefree smile or serious expression. On his right arm is a tattoo of 02, and on his crown, covering his ears, are headphones. The headphones never come off. Let it also be known that his fingernails are at a medium length and painted yellow.

His appearance, eccentric though it is, is also rather average in the fact that it's seen as a school-ish outfit. The shirt is short-sleeved and white with small black-&-yellow cuffs. On his arms are black, detached sleeves, the yellow brim on the top and bottom glow. Around the neck is a yellow tie; it stretches to his navel. His shorts are black stop just above the knee around the brim of each leg is a yellow belt. To his side is another belt, though it acts as a chain, hooked from the front side and behind; it sports a triangular pattern of yellow and dark orange. Attached to the calf and pooling around his feet are detached pant legs. Like the sleeves, the yellow glows. Hidden beneath the leggings are white shoes with glow-y yellow soles.

Personality:
Pretty easy-going by default, but will not hesitate to get serious when the time strikes. Despite the straight face he puts on, smiles come very easy, and they are usually warm and welcoming. He's very friendly and approachable, so harassment by all is welcomed and encouraged. As a small insert, he enjoys bananas.

Len joys a bit of family time here and there, though he sometimes appears bashful when it comes to affection, and will try to either ease away from it or wear a sour face and accept. He is and is not a fan of physical contact; a handshake is welcome, however he will protest should there be anything more. The only time he'll accept anything else is if it's "family," even more so from his "sister."

He speaks to others in a casual manner, and will not hesitate in speaking up. When disagreeing, he is never rude toward his company's words.

History:
There are no records of what Len's true past was like, though there are countless rumours. Some revolve around him being a scientist who lost his sister; some revolve around him being a loyal servant to his princess, so much so that he murdered the whole village, just to carry out her desire; some revolve around him being merely a computer program who was struck down with a virus and deleted from the main system.

He was recognized by the Imperial Capital Defense Program because of his unique persona. Normal though he appears, Len told them about one of the past events he lived through, thus making them the only who know of what truly happened. With a bit of training and a little time, it wouldn't be long until the youth earned his place in the ranks, making him an exceptional and intelligent ally. However, since he was not seen as a strong fighter, he was held from those ranks and placed within the technological think-tanks. He was trained in the "art" of obtaining information, as well as playing the role of a minor strategist.

Extras:
His background is loosely based off of his song "The Disappearance of Kagamine Len," in which he downloads a virus and is deleted. Because of this, and because he's in "the real world" now, I kind of picture him having a case of tuberculosis, though it's not the same as the real kind, if that makes any sense. Basically, to get rid of or stall it, they'd have to hook him up to a computer and install an anti-virus program.
