Trying to draw on a computer is a lot more challenging when you have a kitten who's determined to catch the cursor ... ^___^
Other things I have learned after being an Aby owner for a month:
I thought I was being overzealous in kitten-proofing my house (and all my speakers/stereo equipment). No, turns out it was ALL needed.
It is impossible to keep Abys off of counters. Don't even try. The new rule of the kitchen is--no cats on counters when I'm making food. We're still working on that one. -__-
Abys can hide anywhere. Including places I didn't think it would ever be possible for them to fit! This may just be a cat thing, though. :P
All plastic bags being opened in the kitchen are now potential kitty treat bags. Any rustling is guaranteed to bring them both running. Including opening bags of loose-leaf tea--they are SO disappointed when they're allowed to sniff and discover there's nothing yummy in there!
I will never, ever be able to eat again without two little kitty faces staring expectantly at me. At least we've graduated to that from sticking said faces (and paws!) into my plate ...
And finally--I have discovered it is a great honor when an Aby finally deigns to fall asleep on your lap. (Though having two trying to sleep on your lap at the same time is a lot more problematic!)
