I just realized that I haven't posted up any of my new pieces on here for a while. Curse DW's lack of a handy 'reblog' function from Deviantart! :P I will admit, I've also been a bit hesitant to do so because I feel like people get tired of seeing foxes all the time. But! I've had some other, more interesting commissions lately, so now I get to share.
This is a repeat client--the second winged fox tattoo commission I did for her. I really like how the colors turned out, and of course I always love drawing wings on anything ...
My very first giraffe commission! This is another tattoo commission--the client wanted an 'elegant' and 'sexy' giraffe. Which I will admit are not adjectives I usually apply to giraffes ... but she seemed happy with the result, so hopefully I succeeded. And learned a very important less during this design--if you think your giraffe's proportions are too exaggerated, think again. The legs will always need to be longer! o__O;;
This is a commission from the same client who had asked for an otter!Sherlock and hedgehog!Watson piece of fanart, many, many years ago. This time it's a tattoo design that she and her mom can both share. I don't get to draw cats enough--this one made me happy.
And while this one is another fox, it's a bit different in style--this tattoo design had to match up, color- and style-wise, with another existing design, so I had license to play around a bit with layering colors and going a bit more baroque in my shapes than I normally do.
