More Photo Friday
This week's photo friday pics were spring themed. (clicky da piccies for bigger views)
These are the first tulips we planted at our house. They followed the front walkway. They were so pretty that year. Sadly, a combination of squirrels, salty sno-melt and beastly hard ground spelled the demise of every last one.
This was our house last spring -- right as the leaves were starting to come out. You can see in the front right the start of a flower bed. Basically we had a little crabapple and had put some tulip bulbs in front of it. We have since made this bed a lot bigger, but the second picture is of those tulips up close.
These tulips have survived their second winter and are starting to come up. I think they bloomed mid-late April, so I imagine that's when they will this year as well.
