something like a monday
I always feel a lot better if I had drank hard liquor the night before well unless I've had too much. I think it affects my brain chemistry in a good way or at least that's something I want to believe to give me more reasons to drink. It hardly puts me in a funk to drink whiskey or vodka that stuff evens me out like no other. I was drinking some long islands last night which suited me just fine along with some beers of course. I hung out with Gabrielle last night because she needed company she just broke with her crappy boyfriend which is good news of course I hate when my friends get with pieces of crap but there isn't much you can do about that. Anyways we actually found a nice pub that you could actually smoke at which is rare these days as it's outlawed now... what the fuck you know damn laws anyways. I like ending a sentence with the same word I began it with if I can well not really I'm just messed up like that. Oh I had a rueben at Bennigans too which was ok but nothing like you'd get from a deli mmm i'm hungry I hope the corned beef I put in the slow cooker turned out alright.
I bought a ticket for the pitchforkmedia concert not much has been announced yet but Of Montreal, Iron & Wine and Cat Power are interesting I can't wait to see what else. I finally get to go on a vacation of sorts I'm taking three days off work and then it's on the weekend. I've never been to chicago so this should be interesting. Now I actually have to find people to go with and well I'm going to try to find someone I can stay with. I know a few people out that way so we'll see fuck I'll find some random person if I have or they have a hostel but that's 30+ a night. i'm trying to get off as cheap as I can so lots of people going would be nice or at least as many who can fit in a car to split gas.
