The confused yet strong thoughts Sam is having while under the shower comes off very powerfully. And then there is Dean taking care of things without seeming to do so. Nicely written.

This was really excellent. Very visceral. I was wondering, did you plan this as a season 6 fic? Because I can really see this being Sams reaction to the cold after being ridden by Lucifer.

Thanks! I didn't have this set at any particular time in my mind, but the two options that made the most sense to me were either early on (before he was uber-muscular :-P) or post-Hell. (The latter option was also influenced by the supremely creepy " and not one speck will remain" by jaimeykay, which imagines Dean in much the same situation.)

Thank you! My first draft didn't have much Dean in it, but that just didn't seem right. :-) He might keep his concern to himself, but he's certainly not oblivious.
