Being away for the summer means your growing up and this is an opportunity most don't get. Its an adventure: hold on to it and don't let go!

Responses about not being home during the summer:

-Your friends will have a heck of a lot more fun visiting you where you are than they would in no-nightlife san carlos.
-Money is good, you need money to buy beer.
-Homesickness comes and goes, but it will dissapate.
-If you find a job you love, stick with it.
-You will be bored at home. its a fact.
-I'm at least visiting you damit. multiple times.
-You'd better make a film this summer.
-Parents will probably really enjoy visiting you in SB. Heck, mine would.
-You're just as likely to not get reading done here.
-Doing things you've never experienced is a great feeling.
-You're basically going to be living in Santa Barbara for two years straight. Cool!
-I miss the coast, and sunsets over the ocean.
-Vacation. Fun at first, but afterwards everyone whishes they had more money.
-Here stays Nick

look youre where you want to be. if you ever get to the point that your not happy change it for yourself and no one else. why make yourself miserable. vacations are over rated. vacations are a excuse to live the way you wished you lived your entire life. make it so vacation is all year round. if that means not going home to san carlos so be it. and if that means that your friends have to come see you so be it. hell nick your getting paid to live SB!trust im going to give it my all to come see, i dont think it will work out this summer but trust me i want to.
i love you as always

Hey, I know I'm coming to visit sometime in the near future :).

Also, when's your spring break and are you coming back for it?

These are some of the best and most encouraging comments I've ever gotten on a post. Thank you all.
