Yes, I know that I am complaining but, hey, what is LJ for if not expressing your thoughts?
I have been in the LotR FPS and RPS fandom for many years now, I believe we are approaching a decade. I think that everyone can agree with me when I say that the "golden age" of LotR RPS is long passed and, sadly, only a few of my "classic" authors remain in the fandom. I've known this for a while but it hit me very hard today. It seems that every fic that I wanted to read today has vanished - either to be published or it was simply removed. It is so depressing!
The next few hours will be spent saving every piece of fiction that I can possibly think of to my computer for personal use in the future. I cannot stand the thought of clicking on another link only to find that it has been broken... :(
