[Friends Cut]

Okay. So I've decided to do a small friends cut. I've basically cut anyone who hasn't posted in the past ~six+ months or so, or who I haven't particularly gotten to know well enough to post personal things and feel comfortable with. It's not personal at all, so if you question why, just drop me a line. No hard feelings.

Yeah, I think it's just time to let some things go since I don't have any connection to them other than the forums, and that part of my life is over.

Yuuup that's exactly how I feel about some of these people. The only thing that sucks is that they're still connected until THEY remove ME. >.< I really hate that about LJ. I have like over 20 'other friends' because these people won't remove me. /mini rant

Yeah, same here. I just wish you could choose to remove yourself from them. It's really not fair that you can't.

Maybe we should suggest that to LJ...

Figured I'd reply to Nikki so you could both see it...

Anyway, if you choose the ban option for a user (which I think they made accessible when you hover over the lj shoulders/head thing instead of having to use the admin console - but I can't check on my iPod, reh) then it eradicates them from your records. If you were to go to their profile page, you would still be listed there as a person they're friends with, but you don't have to deal with them on your own profile or on the Manage Friends page.

It's not a complete fix, but it seems to be all LJ will offer.
