To Whom It May Concern;
I have been very moved by the vilification of your former employee Lindsey Stone. I feel that firing her was not the correct action to take. When tens of thousands of people wage a campaign of fear against a young woman who is not a public figure, it sets a very dangerous precedent and genuinely concerns me about the future of this county. Miss Stone made a mistake, but her mistake unintentionally caused pain. The reaction of thousands was to immediately, intentionally, and maliciously cause her pain. I don’t feel that was right and that is why I disagree with her termination.
To ensure my point gets across, I have enclosed a $20 cash donation. While I feel you have made one mistake, it seems that your organization does a lot of good. And I don’t believe that any person or organization should be judged solely on a single mistake.
