smack dab at the end of a great weekend.
this weekend was awesome. josh and i drove to st. louis (12.5 grueling hours through KANSAS - the state that just shouldn't exist) to see ben and mary beth kesler...our pals from Martha's Vineyard. ben is helping josh record his new album, the one song they really got going on sounds fabulous!
so, that was fun...a nice little getaway...and then home to a Monday morning not filled with class, rather filled with allison and josh attending Mix100 studios (where josh works) to see frickin' sarah mclachlan!!! wow. that was a blast. she's beautiful and so gracious...and amazing. she played "fallen" and i literally teared up. pathetic, i know. i don't get "star" struck easily, but come on - it's sarah mclachlan...her music was prevalent through my entire adolescence!
