(no subject)

between yesterday and today i think i wrote more than i have the entire semester. i wrote an essay (about 8 pages) yesterday, an outline for the next essay, a paper on A Beautiful Mind (4 pages), and three posts on the discussion board. (now i only have ten left!) plus notes in both classes tonight.
After expo JP and i were walking towards eachother, i had a goal in mind, and so did he apparently. i trumped him by asking him first if he could email me about the class later. and he's like 'i was going to ask you the same thing!' so i was nice and said you go home, i'll stay. i figured he'd only missed really one class and i've missed....uh...it's easier to say i've been to about 4 or 5 classes. and this is week 13 i do believe. i know i'm bad. but whatever. i'm getting a decent grade thus far. i just can't stand listening to this guy ramble on about the same subject for two hours, phrasing and rephrasing questions then talking himself into a corner because he's rephrased the question so many times he can't even recall what his main point was! ugh.

though, i have to say, tonight was classic. Biomedical Ethics Prof... he apparently wrote this long ass paper about whatever it is (i'll get to reading it soon, i promise). so he sets up 4 cases, he explains them all, and some of the class disagreed with his reasoning on the fourth case. so he said 'let me give it to you another way becuase i have a few ways to set this up in my mind..." when he's about halfway through explaining it again, a different way, a few of us chimed in "that's case #3!" to which he stared like a deer in headlights, confused as all hell, he finally replies "no it's not" and a nice student was gracious enough to explain to him why it was case #3. he argued with us a bit before finally submitting and moving on to his point.
what makes this mildly amusing is that all of this is in the paper he wrote. i actually found it so amusing that i stopped coloring and started taking notes...about the paper i have to write about my expo class, not ethics :op

harvard, ramblings, papers
