I agree - it really shows the ugly side of people, though I don't agree that it's because of Chinese's lack of unity. Because, well, the Chinese can be surprisingly united (I'm Chinese, so...) Power really disrupts people's minds, you know?

But then I feel really sorry for Steelhead. T^T I was saying to my parents, that it really is just a big cycle, where all he wanted to do was be with the... woman. Yuko. Hahah, forgot her name for a moment. And even at the end he dies for the woman, whereas she just betrays him again. Life is a... fickle.

It's really violent, though. T^T I kept wincing, hahah.

Maybe i shouldn't say they are not united... but then in the show, in the show for their own benefits(like that taiwan gangleader, cause he got the japanese gang for backup, he is bullying chinese, isnt he a chinese too?? like the gal who ah jie was seeing initially, her father seems like discriminate chinese just becos he's been looked after by japanese, and yet he himself is a chinese) Eh... i'm a chinese too..
