Blood Brothers and Against Me!
one of the best shows I've ever been to
Against Me was the fucking best, I've never been in the midst of so much just positive energy! So many awesome punk rock kids that just went crazy. The guys from Against Me! are so amazing and just built on having a good time and taking care of one another. At one point there were about 20 kids that just got up on the stage and sang with the band and all throughout the show kids were up and down from the stage and would sing with the band for a min and then jump off. Sooo much fun. As much as I love the Blood Brothers and they are so much fun to watch, there are so many lame, sour kids that are in that crowd and so many trendy 15 year old fucks that dont know what the hell is going on. But let me tell you, it was myspace breeding ground. it was ridiculous. My new friend Mitch gave me a ride and he is cool as fuck. We were born in the same hospital in Oklahoma. How weird. And then we picked up his friend Sean from DU and he is such a funny, genuine kid.
So I'm now a MOT. Member of The Tribe, of Mitch and Sean. We went to IHOP afterwards and Mitch bought for all of us. So much fun. Best milkshake ever. Then we decided to rent The Big Lebowski and go to Mitch's house and watch it cos Sean hadnt seen it. Well he fell asleep in the first 20 mins but I got to play with Mitch's awesome dogs and cat. and then his mom made juice the next morning. I'm glad Austin and Becky showed up at the show. And I had some of Becky's gin and tonic so she wouldnt end up sleeping with all the bands. ahaha. Austin left after Blood Brothers which is too bad because Against Me! was the best. And once Blood Brothers ended the lame scenesters left. But I saw a Blood Brother in the crowd of Against Me! rockin out. The Blood Brothers are hot and sexy and so flamboyant and so much fun to watch.
I saw some Springs kids there like Matt and Seth and Brian Early. Brian Early stole 3 cigarettes from me the bastard. Mitch and Sean knew everyone cos they are from Denver but I liked not knowing many people. Saw the kid who sold me some socks at Journey's there.
Anywho, I'm going to Boulder tonite. Call me and we will meet up 719-351-4387
