It is too bad so many people are bothered by reality.

People should learn to live bothered rather than try to alter their mental conception of reality in order to make it seem less bothersome. Perhaps then they would be much better at coping.

People may be bothered by things they hear/see me say in fragments. They should not, however, be bothered by the complete and thorough argument I use to support and complete said fragments, when I am only using factual examples in order to make my arguments effective. I do not tip my arguments in order to achieve some kind of motive. What would that motive be, when the conclusion of the argument is at times a dark pronouncement?

There are many cases in which people ought not be so sentimental that they are offended by simple facts that may come off as offensive, or reasonable arguments that may involve premises that may be taken as offensive in order to reach a common sense conclusion.

If we have an emotional reaction to everything we hear or read, we will not be able to think clearly enough to accomplish tasks at hand in the most reasonable way possible. Emotions distract us from reason much as alcohol distracts us from inhibition.

I would rather offend a million people than change an opinion based on solid evidence and facts in order to appease these people's souls. The intellect cannot be fully utilized under the fog of emotion. Therefore, writings of the sort that I tend to propose should not be read by anyone who would prefer to follow his or her emotional gut response than actually to consider the rational and logical implications of my propositions. So much for the topic of my styles of reasoning for now.
