Boring Budget
I'm trying to learn to budget and it is the hardest thing EVER!
I moved out a year ago now and into a lovely apartment with the other half. It was a big commitment both in our relationship and financially. Neither of us had lived on our own before.
Our relationship is as strong as ever. Some of my friends think it's sickening but we're in love and we don't care.
We've kept ourselves afloat so far financially with some help here and there, but now that I'm a student as well we're starting to struggle. Enter budgeting!
It's strange not being able to go out and buy whatever I want. I liked the feeling of being able to shop whenever and wherever I wanted.
It's the shoes I miss the most. Though, bless him, the other half saved and took me shopping for Valentines Day, which included a new pair of beautiful boots.
My new mantra from now on is 'Do I need this? Do I REALLY need this?'
But before I start budgeting I do need a pair of red shoes.
