Trick or Treaters

This was our first Halloween at our new house. Now are move can def be described as moving from a more small/country town to a bigger city but we still live in a very neighborhood type area. There are about 8 or so blocks of houses all close together. My mom and I have no clue how much candy we're going to need so to be safe we spend about $30 on candy and spend the day cleaning and raking the front yard so the little kiddies can easily navigate to our front door. We look up on the city guide online and find out that the trick or treating usually runs from 6 to 8. Six o'clock rolls around and I put on our front porch light to signal that we are indeed giving out candy. Would you like to know how many kids came to our door? 2. yep. 2. WHAT THE CRAP! What the hell happens to trick or treaters in this town? My old town was crawling with kids, you had to fight your way to the door to get candy. I was really bummed because I usually go out and party every Halloween and this year I decided to take it easy and thought it would be fun to see all the little kids dressed up. No. Little shits apparently trick or treat in some other mysterious place (that I will find out about!) instead of the traditional door to door routine. I'm a bit confused by it all.

The only savior of this weekend was finally getting to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Great fuckin movie. Even just to watch, the camera shots and tricks were just beautiful. Jim Carrey was awesome in it as well, he def proved that not only can he do a non comedy but he can do it damn good. If anyone hasn't seen this yet go rent it.

I'm also recently addicted to the new show Desperate Housewives. I've seen last weeks and this weeks and I'm def hooked.
