The Good: Everything
The Bad: Nothing.
Sam is part of the summary! To be more precise, there's no Dean in the summary ... Wait, did TBTB remember Sam's a part of the Show? Oh nooooo! How can it be?
Please, please, pleaaaase ... don't fail the promise you made with the summary! I deserve some good news after yesterday.
Duuh, for a moment I thought the guy in the white shirt is the Trickster, but I think I'm wrong. But look and say hey to the mayor of Spin City!
Other magician guy is a jerk. Leave my favorite mayor alone!
*rofl* THAT'S an emo!kid! That young magician (I like him, so say goodbye to him.) Sam doesn't wear eyeliner. And for a second I thought Tom Cruise from Days of Thunder was coming down from the ceiling. What's up with Show confusing me?
Ahh, now I lost my cursor. Again. Thanks ninjavideo. So I'm gonna stop commenting while watching and just come back later for my summary-kindish review.
Summary-kindish review:
I throughout enjoyed this episode. They had cool guest stars (3 old guys ftw!). Hit you over the head with symbols, hints and similarities to our beloved brothers and most importantly: SAM WAS PART OF THE SHOW! It also didn't do any harm that he wore my favorite hoodie and just looked smokin' hot. Way to go, Sammy. (Btw, in terms of Anja's and mine scientific research on who's the focus of the show, this time the point would definitely go to Sam)
I loved the fact that they talked about their future, because I thought season one!Sam to be dead and gone. Boy, was I wrong. He still craves a real future for Dean and himself. One without hunting. One in which they're actually alive and are somewhat happy. *squishes Sam* I'm happy to know that for all his single-mindness and thirst for revenge, deep down he still wants normal. *does the happy dance* I think Kripke read my entry about "Carpe Demon" and the possibility to go hunting and have a family. Or, in Sam's case, probably have a family and don't hunt anymore. Gosh, I really hope that's what the finale of Supernatural will imply for the future of my beloved boys. As much as I love all the pain and angst, at the end of the day I want them to be just happy and content. They deserve it.
Interestingly, Sam's dream this episode takes away somewhat from the bleak impression we got from him in "Wishful Thinking". There it looked like everything he wishes for is Lilith's head and that's it. Now we know that he sees a future beyond that and I'm glad for it. Maybe Sam isn't suicidally depressed like I feared. There's still hope!
And now I want to know what exactly he's up to. What is he scared of apart from his psychic abilities? At first I thought he meant that he could get addicted to them a la the road to hell is paved with good intentions. But I don't think he talked about that (also, in my mind he thinks he's already damned for eternity), but something else. Arrgh, Kripke!
Conclusion: Kripke reads my blog and know when he has to make me happy. And he did. Now, if he could do that every friday I'd be really delighted.
