As you should already be able to figure, this is going to be yet another Bleach-manga related rant. :3
I just have to say...
how much I LOVELOVELOVE-d Kisuke's presence in the new Bleach chapter! <3333 Even though it was so painfully late >< Oh, well, I forgive them on account of all the Kisuke love they served me. xD
I was very amused to find out he was Yoruichi's subordinate, a third-seat no less, and that he took a test to get himself promoted to captain. Poor him, captaining Hiyori will definitely be a tough thing on him, considering what the girl's relationship with her previous captain was. >< Do your best, Kisuke! We believe in you! <33
On a not entirely related note, Shinji is absolutely awesome. I start to feel how different an air the long hair gives him. It definitely has something... spiritual about him, that crown of absolutely straight and so long hair. *__* Shinji wins at life. Especially how he absolutely owned Aizen while he was playing hide-and-seek, heheh.... Take that damage, will-be-traitor! This kind of development only makes me wonder what would happen should Aizen and Shinji clash, hmmm, highly amusing. :333 And now I know why I got this lingering coolness feeling when I first saw Shinji in the manga too--he had been a Soul Society captain all along! <333 Bless him! Can't wait to see more of him!
Another thing that made an impression on me was the fact that, although Urahara had been under Yoruichi's command, he referred to Hirako as "Captain Hirako" but not his just recently former captain; she was "Yoruichi-san" to him, just as we know him to refer to her later in the series too. I find that rather curious, even if you might not. xD
I am most definitely looking forward to more Bleach flashback arc because it certainly has me very interested in the happenings of Soul Society from a century ago. Kubo Tite, you sly fox, you! Trying to make me forget Grimm's absence with an overloaded pwnsomeness attack! xD You play really, really dirty, you...
I hope Kisuke manages to bond to Hiyori-chan. She has a bratty attitude, but I'm sure that deep deepdeepdeeeeep beneath that, she's just one big softie, missing her favourite captain. <33
