So yesterday i got bored and made an mp3 mix of a few cds:
Jethro Tull (Aqualung)
Stereophonics (Language. Sex. Violence. Other?)
Coldplay (Best of Coldplay)
The Fray (How To Save A Life)
Travis (The Singles)
...and i am totally grooving to it, when i happen upon the Coldplay portion of it. So, i like Coldplay, and have listened to a lot of their newer stuff but had never really gotten into the older stuff, which i why i thought this cd might be a nice introduction to it. ..and ...i get to this song "Shiver" and the first thing that pops into my head is Jeff Buckley. The riffs sound similar, errie vocal similarity, lyrics etc. are just all screaming Jeff Buckley's song "Last Goodbye". Then i started doing some research and low and behold, the song "Shiver" was supposted to be inspired by Jeff Buckley, more specifically his song "Last Goodbye".
I thought all this nonesense was pretty cool.
