(no subject)
SO UH THINGS. I EXIST, REALLY.
Last week I was in Virginia visiting family. Hoooooly shit everyone's grown up so much. Grace and Ellie are both taller than me, Charlie's lifeguarding at the goddamn beach, of all places, and Ethan- my oldest cousin- is driving. Nnnngh compared to them I feel so old and unaccomplished. ANYWAY we went to visit DeeDee's parents in Deltaville, which is right where some creek meets some river meets Chesapeake Bay. I mean, they were right on the water in this fantastic little town, it was so much fun. I stayed outside more than I've probably been outside all year, and I have the burn to show for it 8(
Work is work, nothing special. This weekend is Tax-Free Weekend soooo I'll probably want to kill myself when I get off Saturday afternoon. Oh well, it's monies that I really need.
Two weeks until Other M is released... Kiiiiiiiiiiiind of freaking out 8))))) Even if I'm not able to play it for awhile, that'll be ok. I'll just have to stay off TV Tropes for awhile I think. Or just avoid YouTube videos. I might do the same thing I did for Twilight Princess and some of Metal Gear Solid, in that I spoil myself up the butt and just avoid watching cutscene footage. Because I already have a pretty good idea about what's going to happen as far as deaths go... *STARES AT EVERYONE WHO'S NOT SAMUS*
Work is work. I've been offered a couple part-time positions (as opposed to contingent, which I am now), but I'd really rather stay where I am because I know when school starts I'm going to die. Anyways. I've been putting a lot of hours in the children's department, and I really like it. It's low-maintenance (all things considered) and I get to be around kids. Which is fun because they can be really cute.
School-wise, I've done absolutely nothing about my summer project... but I've been doing a lot of stuff for MODA, which mostly translates to making flyers for the back to school fair, creating a Twitter account, and putting the bare bones on our website. It still makes me feel like a good PR officer.
Anyway that's kind of it. I really need to update more often so I'm not making these tl;dr entries... But I say that all the time so the chances are slim 8(
OH YEAH and numisma is coming to visit in just about two weeks and she's gonna come to Anime Fest and we're gonna have a grand old time ♥
