THE SUPER BUSY WEEKENDS HAVE BEGUN ALREADY. I'm pretty much booked right now. Taking a quick break from Art History homework which I have to have done by Wednesday, and I was in Scoular until like 3 working on my patternmaking notebook. It's done, so all I have to worry about for that class is my conceptual design stuff, which I intend to hammer out tomorrow morning and during PAC night. Monday afternoon too, because I need to go down to Golden D'or and get swatches. We have to have swatches, prototypes, and sketches by Tuesday. Oi. Sunday is a sewing day, because I have a lot of work to do on my jacket- the next checkpoint involves welt pockets and welt buttonholes, and though we have Tuesday to work on them, we need to have two practice ones done first, which could take awhile.
FASHION ILLUSTRATION IS LOADS OF FUN THOUGH. We learned how to draw faces on Wednesday and... I really, really like the way Mitzi taught us. I'm really good at it. And I spent some time practicing and I drew Dianna Agron and Angelina Jolie and Angelina's face looks kinda short but otherwise I'm super happy. IF ONLY WE LEARNED THIS BEFORE I HAD TO SUBMIT MY SCHOLARSHIP PORTFOLIO sob. Maybe next time. I have a project due Wednesday for this class too, but I've got a bunch of other stuff to take care of first, so it's kind of on the back burner.
I've discovered that I have a fangirl and an internet tard for teachers. Well, to be fair, Mitzi isn't really a fangirl. She had a moment about Lost in class and warned us she'd take points off our grade if we spoiled her and kinda gushed about it for a moment, but it wasn't weird, just fun. VINCENT, my French teacher, however... Has said "fail" multiple times just by itself, made a CSI Miami joke on Tuesday, and said something about calling the waaahmbulance Thursday. But he's super funny and looks like Ferris Bueller's friend, so it's all GOOD TIMES.
I also need to get as much work done for next week THIS week as I possibly can, because next weekend puffs and I are going to a Scientology protest and later is Valentine's day and we'll probably end up being really dorky and gay for that too. But such is life C:
This school has been really, REALLY good at making me organize my time. It's kind of a necessity.
