Friday through Sunday is Nascar, and while Saturday isn't nearly as brutal as every other day (mmm delicious only 4 hours of work), Friday I'm working from 10-7. Ten am to 7 pm. The only good thing about that is not having to wake up absurdly early. Sunday I have Nascar, then an 8 hour total break before malemiko's Repo shadowcast performance. IT'S AT THE LAKEWOOD THEATRE AT 10 PM, ALL OF YOU GUYS IN THE DFW AREA AND EVEN SOME WHO AREN'T SHOULD GO SEE IT.
Working on a monster project for weaving, too, and I want to have the actual weaving portion of it completely done by next Thursday so I can dye it and take it home to wash it in a proper washing machine. I'll be sewing it into a garment, and I want it to behave as much like fabric as humanly possible. That means I need to have 3 yards of weaving done by then. Sometime this weekend I think I'll get the actual fabric for the thing (it's a coat), so maybe next weekend I can cut everything out. After that, it's just sewing everything together. And it's the same coat pattern I used for Bel and Squalo and Seras (and Alucard) so I can probably sew it in my sleep at this point. Hopefully it'll turn out super awesome, because it is a super awesome idea.
BUT AT THE SAME TIME I have to worry about the patternmaking and sewing projects due Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Patternmaking is especially bad, because this one is dealing with a fully sewn garment, facings and all. Up until now we hadn't bothered finishing everything on the muslins, but now we do. Then there's a lab due in Textiles on Thursday ughhhhhhhhhh it never ends.
I've had to scrap the MODA fashion show. I just have no time to do anything extra. I'll finish everything on my own time, and enter it in another show. Maybe.
