Blahhhh I suppose I should update.
FINALLY got a chance to come home this weekend. It was nice to take a break from schoolwork (save reading my Textiles book) and just chill ouuut. Well, until we watched X-Men Origins last night. WHAT THE SHIT WAS THAT MARVEL I AM DISAPPOINT. I mean, I was never a big Wolverine fan anyway, but still. I didn't enjoy it and I spent the rest of the evening watching 9 and putting myself in a better mood.
SPEAKING OF I think last night I realized I'm going to end up treating 1 the same way I treat Ozymandias. Which is to rip on him mercilessly, but do it out of love :( They're both such magnificent bastards, it's like they're asking for it. *also waves to the people from the 9_movie friending meme ♥ welcomeee etc etc*
SPEAKING OF 9 I found a delicious thing on the official website, played with it a whole bunch, and now have easy access to complete references for 3 and 4. BADASS COSPLAY FOR ALL-CON HERE I COMEEEEEE.
Friday malemiko and her parents and I went to the Greek Food Festival. Which was shittons of fun. We ate lots of delicious food and I got these badass pair of poofy red cotton pants. And yes, I have plans to wear them every chance I get 8)
Next Friday I'm going to go look for fabric for my designs for MODA's show. The pants + jacket combo won by an overwhelming amount, so I guess I'll be going with that, LOL. Though a quick search through Joann's told me there was little in the way of striped fabric like that. Which is fine, I just made a change to include a plaid pattern. I love Photoshop. But I still think I like the stripes better... Oh, well, we'll just have to see what I can find :(
and I dropped from bnf_brawl Thursday. THREE YEAAAAAAAAAARS and somehow my life doesn't seem that empty.
I have until early evening to do exactly nothing. Maybe read a chapter in my Textiles book. THEN I THINK I WANT TO PLAY SOME VIDEO GAMES.
