Or so says the pop-up ad I just received.

Where I last left you, my faithful readers, was Jamie and I having just returned from purchasing Star Wars tickets. We got back and didn't really have time to do much else before we had to leave for the show. We left a good hour beforehand, just so we'd get there on time. We didn't have to worry about getting good seats, as the seats are all assigned, but I didn't want to miss previews if they came early. We arrived a good 30 minutes early, so Jamie and I wandered a supermarket looking for cheap drinks and snacks to smuggle in. The smuggling went fairly easily, and we were soon seated and looking at a curtain drawn across the screen. Mike and Chris had yet to have arrived, but they were due anytime. They had finally gotten a meeting with their IQP advisor at 1:00pm, and the show was at 2:25pm, so they had to hurry.

2:25pm came and went. Some previews were alright, and I saw the funniest commercial ever just before the movie. It was a Star Wars - Orange Wireless joint commercial, and since there is no Orange Wireless in the States, you people have to miss out. If you can somehow get your hands on the commercial though, do it. It was the funniest thing I had seen in a very long time.

The movie was excellent. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but it was totally worth it. I'd say it's one of the top three Star Wars movies made. For people not wishing to think about it, that means I think it was better than at least one of the originals, probably The Empire Strikes Back. Mike and Chris never showed.

We returned to the dorm, and it turns out because their meeting ran long, they missed the show. I would have been heartbroken if I were them. We left around 6:30 or so to go see The Tempest at Globe Theater. My favorite moment was as we walked outside the IES as a group, and I say "So, how was everyone's day?" and Mike just turns to me and says "Fuck you". I found it hilarious, though I still feel bad for the guy.

The Tempest was strange. It was all in the orignal Shakespearean language, and the play was done with only three actors, all male. Three females were hanging out on stage too, and they did various things such as playing props and other such stuff. Since the actors would change from role to role in the blink of an eye, and I wasn't always sure what the women were doing, I left the play feeling very confused.

We left the play, and returned back to IES. Jamie and I had done some grocery shopping earlier in the day, and now he cooked us some penne with meat sauce. I'd like to say I assisted, but only if assisted means I stirred things sometimes and washed some dishes. Then I ate the food. And I also helped pack up. Jamie is a pretty good cook. Even though cooking this dish wasn't too hard, he seemed extremely competent in the kitchen. Apparently I'm the only one who can't tell the difference between a chef's pan and a frying pan, but that's ok, I have people like Jamie to do my cooking for me. One day I'll have to take Katie up on her offer to show me how to cook real macaronia and cheese, not the box stuff.

Now it's almost bed time. More updating tomorrow.
