In a Day
In a day I'll be at the Statehouse, in a day I'll be out of the private sector and into the public sector, in a day I'll be working for an awesome guy, and in a day I'll be facing change again.
Yeah, I'm nervous, but I've been working through it this weekend. Yesterday we drove downtown just to walk into the Statehouse and stare at the door (obviously everything was locked up). I figure I'll be parking in a mall lot and walking maybe the first two or three days as I have no idea where I'll officially be parking. Plus, there's a sneaky suspicion that we won't be able to get in to the office until the swearing-in ceremony. Not to mention we're having a "open house" the first day we're in - wonderful.
I'm excited, I'm nervous, I'm worried and most importantly I'm ready.
I just need to find out what I need to get done today.
