Episode OMG I AM SO TIRED.

My body feels like it is floating. It's possible that this is from a combination of not enough sleep and COFFEE I LOVE IT SO MUCH, but it could also be a side effect from staring into Kate's eyes. THEY ARE MESMERIZING. Like the hypnotic toads from Futurama!

I'm gonna make this short, 'cause it just took me about ten tries to spell 'mesmerizing,' but I do want to put something up because I like having a record of my impressions.

Things I noticed:

• HI NEAL'S NIPPLES IN THAT UNDERSHIRT. HOW YOU DOIN'?
• I like the 'stache. But not as much as I love El's baby weight and PUPPY SATCHMO.
• THE SUCKER. HAHAHA DOUBLE ENTEEEENDRE.
• Um. There was something else. I do not remember it though. *mourns*

Things I loved:

• Kate. Love, love, loved her. I loved her eyes and that she likes magic and that SHE'S TOTALLY TALLER THAN NEAL WHEN SHE'S IN HEELS, and that she has wide shoulders and looks kind of awkward sometimes.

I know there's probably a lot of Kate hate (hey, at least it rhymes!), and I'm sure there are many valid points and insightful critiques, but I'mma just put it out there that I am head-over-heels in love with Kate after this ep. I think the actress did a lovely job, and I like that I have another female character to write about instead of a face in a window!

As far as the episode as a whole - I wish they'd focused in on one segment of Neal's past instead of his entire history as a grifter. It felt rushed, things came together to easily, and also it totally contradicts a bunch of my fics. DAMN YOU, EASTIN! *shakes fist*

Fics I need to read now:

• Neal/EVERYONE. Adler, Moz, Alex, Kate. Not necessarily all at once. ALTHOUGH IT WOULD BE NICE.
• Kate being insatiable, and Neal going along for the ride.
• FEM!DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Alex needs to get even, AND KATE WAS WEARING A POLICE UNIFORM. HELLO ROLEPLAYING.
• Neal/Peter. 'Cause Neal opened up a whole lotta old wounds, retelling that story. PETER SHOULD HEAL HIM WITH HIS PENIS. (Or, y'know, sleepy drunk kisses and hugs on the porch and eternal loooooove.)
