An Open Letter to the White Collar Fandom
Dear fandom,
I love you. You are wonderful. Because of you I have made great friends, written waaay more than I ever thought I could, and come across some unbelievable fic. But we need to talk.
ABOUT THE LACK OF PORN.
See, I like to read porn. I also like to write it. But I don't like to read my own porn (because I cannot correct typos with mah hand in mah pants ) and therein lies the problem. When I am feeling hot and bothered and want to read some hot PWP - I would like to not have to go to other fandoms' kink memes!
Now, I LOVE collarkink. It is where I started writing for this fandom, and there are a LOT of wonderful stories on there. And I don't in any way mean to sound like I don't appreciate the long, plotty, and romantic fics that are there (I have written gen on there myself!) but where are the stories where they just fuck? Where the majority of the story is centered around sex, and not flirting?
I love that Peter and Elizabeth have a mature and stable relationship. Yes, they are indeed sweet and cute and loving. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY DON'T FUCK LIKE REALLY KINKY RABBITS AT NIGHT. I appreciate that fic writers, when they want to bring Neal into a threesome situation, feel the need to talk about expectations and power dynamics and etc. BUT NONE OF THAT SHOULD PRECLUDE DIRTY FUCKING. Just because a threesome is a different kind of relationship than most people are used to, doesn't mean that all the stories about it need to be full of them negotiating their relationship. AT SOME POINT. THEY CAN HAVE UNCOMPLICATED HORNY DESPERATE SEX. REALLY IT'S OKAY.
Again: this is not meant to criticize the fic that has been written (IN ANY WAY I LOVE IT REALLY TRULY) but to ask for fic that isn't being written (as much as I would like, or as much I have seen in other small fandoms).
So, my wonderful kinky friends, I have a challenge for you: prove me wrong, or help me out!
TO PROVE ME WRONG: Post links to your favorite PWPs in the comments (stories where the porn takes up more of the story than the plot, or if there is plot, that the sex is more than an afterthought). It doesn't have to be kinky, but it does have to involve SEX.
TO MAKE MY DAY BETTER: WRITE SOME PORN IN A COMMENT. It can be anon, you can go to collarkink for ideas and post a link to your fill here - they can be short, but PLEASE make them porny! It doesn't have to be good or profound or even kinky - just something that qualifies for an NC-17 rating.
